Welcome back to my ‘currently’ list! The last one I shared was in August (oops), but I’m happy to be writing them again in this new year!
RESOLVING // Short and sweet, I’m going to take better care of myself this year. I’m planning to nourish my body with healthy foods (more veggies, less sugar), exercise (more Pilates, less Netflixing), and take time to rest when I know I need it. I wore myself down during the fall by putting a little too much on my plate, and I’m going to do a better job this year in listening to what my body needs. I’m actually looking forward to it!
READING // The Gifts of Imperfection. A wise woman recommended this book to me recently and WOW. It’s exactly what I’ve needed! The tagline reads: “Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are.” I’m about halfway through and I’ve already told several friends they need to get their hands on a copy. You should, too!
ORGANIZING // Pictures from 2015. Each year, I create an “Adventure Book” through the lovely Artifact Uprising, and the time has come to make the 2015 version! Though I don’t do it as often as I should, I love getting photos printed, whether in book or photo form. There’s something calming about flipping through and reminiscing with a photo album, especially in our digital-heavy world. Print those photos, friends!
LOVING // This sweet potato, sausage, and apple bake from Coffee and Crumbs. Holy moly…this is definitely my new favorite meal! I was in search of a easy casserole to give to a new mom + family a few months ago, and the internet fairies lead me to this delightful dish. It’s ‘clean’ and a serious crowd-pleaser…check it out!

CRAVING // Can I use the above recipe for what I’m craving? 😉 Really, I’m craving some time outside. I’m so very thankful that the sun has been OUT the past few days, but it’s been so chilly, I haven’t wanted to brave the cold! (#wimp #southerner #isitmayyet) Planning to bundle up and go for a walk tomorrow to satisfy that desire!
What are you currently up to this month?
