There was so much generosity shown during my #KindnessForEddie challenge in February (read the original post here), I really don’t know how to thank you enough. Many, many small acts of kindness were completed in my dad’s name, and I know he would’ve loved seeing each and every one of them.
You all did a little bit of everything: took meals to neighbors, left extra tips for waiters, sent flowers and cards to friends, offered to volunteer additional Sundays at church, left thoughtful gifts for mail carriers, paid for the person behind you in line, and gave treats to the staff and patients at a local cancer center, among countless others. Several of you shared my blog post on social media, and I received many texts telling me you were thinking of my dad and how you were going to bless someone’s day. It brought my family and me so much joy; I hope it did the same for you.
Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart! I plan to share this challenge again in February, but don’t wait until then to bless someone you know or meet. Let’s keep those acts of kindness going!
