SMP Monthly Three | February :: Middle Tennessee Family and Portrait Photography

1 – 10 on 10 :: I love ’10 on 10’s! I noticed a favorite photographer of mine, Kate T. Parker, was part of a new blog circle, where each participant had to choose one day each month and shoot an image every hour. Then, on the 10th of every month, they post the ones that best tell a story of the day. At the end of the post, they will link to another photographer in the circle, so you can see their 10 on 10 (sharin’ the love!). Such a great idea, and a wonderful way to find new photographer’s work. I especially loved Sara Garcia’s February share….see it here!

2 – Vivian Maier Film :: I’ve seen this name for a few years, and just this week, there have been articles floating around about a new documentary on Vivian’s life and work. From what I understand, a man named John Maloof found her street photography photographs at a local thrift auction – not before seen –  and introduced the world to her work. The world thanks you, Mr. Maloof.

3 – Rifle Paper Co. :: What a gorgeous site.  Over the years, my love for all things paper has deepened, and the designs by Rifle made me stop in my tracks! I think everything on there is so lovely – especially the fun prints.
